We currently have a vacancy for a fixed-term full time post. This involves working in both our Level One Centres at Royal Brompton Hospital and Evelina London Children's Hospital, as well as our established cardiac network centres.

Main duties of the job
The Fetal Cardiac Nurse Specialist role supports families in pregnancy from the moment of antenatal diagnosis of congenital heart disease until handover to Paediatric Cardiology services after birth. This role involves close collaboration with local hospitals, obstetric and neonatal services, as well as the tertiary centres.
This role is across the Lifelong Network, supporting the women and families seen by the fetal cardiology teams Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, and at Evelina London.
There is great opportunity to be involved in service development, local and national education, also audit and research. Evidence of experience in these areas is preferable.
The successful candidate will be kind and compassionate, be an excellent communicator, a great team player, be a critical problem solver, be able to multitask, and to use basic computer software such as Windows, PowerPoint, and Excel.
