Job summary
An exciting new position within Guy's Cancer Academy.
We are looking for a talented Media Production Assistant to join the team in assisting on all media projects within the Learning Laboratory, which includes: pre- production planning, capturing video and audio content, post production editing, asset and talent management, and maintaining in-house equipment and studio space.
Main duties of the job
- Assist on all media projects within the Learning Laboratory, which includes: pre- production planning, capturing video and audio content, post production editing, asset and talent management, and maintaining in- house equipment and studio space.
- Support the creation ofeducational media using evidence-based education, in collaboration with other members of the wider academy team.
- Support production of live education events (webinars and online conferences
- Take an active role in researching innovations in educational media (e.g. VR, AR, 360) to enhance the learner experiences.

Guy's Cancer Academy launched in February 2019 and provides education and training on every aspect of cancer care to both healthcare professionals and patients.
Our multidisciplinary team designs, develops and facilitates online training, masterclasses, conferences, preceptorship programmes, and university-accredited courses.
Guy's Cancer Academy has rapidly established itself as a leader in delivering high-quality online cancer education and training within the NHS. This role is based within our Learning Laboratory and aims to significantly increase our capacity for content production and innovation.
