Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Renal Dietetic team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering group fluid education to patients on dialysis under the supervision of the renal dietitian. They will also play a key role in supporting the dietitians with clerical/ administrative tasks.

Main duties of the job
- To deliver group fluid education to patients on dialysis under the supervision of the renal dietitian.
- To screen patient lists by checking bloods, anthropometry and clinical information to determine whether a dietetic review is required.
- To update and maintain patient electronic databases.
- Order, monitor and maintain stock levels of dietetic product samples and supplies.
- To generate and send prescription letters.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and an ability to collect and record information accurately and concisely are essential.
Previous experience working as a dietetic assistant/ with patients is desirable.
You will be working with supervision from the renal dietitians in the team.
