Evelina Junior Clinical Fellow in General Paediatrics and Specialties
SALARY (GRADE FROM FY2 to ST3)
Full-time: varied contract lengths and variable start dates - six month posts starting from Aug/Sep 2024 and Feb/March 2025
Applications are invited for a Junior Clinical Fellow rotational posts in Paediatrics at the Evelina London Children's Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to gain paediatric experience at a world class paediatric hospital with a wealth of training and education opportunities available to successful applicants. Whilst these are not accredited training posts, they attract the same training opportunities, including study leave, a named educational supervisor and a very active educational program.
Main duties of the job
We have several posts available starting in Aug/Sep 2024 and Feb/March 2025. There are six month posts available or we can offer longer rotational posts between various specialties. We have a strong track record in supporting trainee through a number of posts and subsequent successful entry into the national training programmes however we are keen to hear from you whether your prior experience in paediatrics is minimal or significant.

The paediatric posts are based in the Evelina London Children's Hospital at St Thomas' Hospital in various specialties. The neonatal posts are based in the neonatal unit at St Thomas' which is one of the largest in London.

- GMC Registration
- Medical degree - MBBS or equivalent.
- Completed Foundation competencies or equivalent.
Desirable
- MRCPCH part 1
- Level 3 Child protection training
- Newborn life support training
- APLS or equivalent resuscitation certification

- Understanding and awareness of particular requirements and demands of working with children and their parents.
- Demonstrates reflective approach to practice and commitment to personal development
