Tower and Nuffield Theatres comprises of 7 operating theatres with array of surgical specialties (Ortho, ENT, Head and Neck, Breast, Plastics, Urology, Endo-Urology, Podiatry) We also have a stage two recovery lounge with ambulatory patients and support day case discharges.

Main duties of the job
Nursing Associate - Theatre role
- Admit surgical patients
- Record vital signs, height and weight
- Undertake urine analysis
- Venepuncture and Cannulation
- Undertake ECG's
- Personal care of patients
- Support cleanliness of environment
- Scrub and circulate in theatres
- Assist with postoperative care (recovery)
- Assist with second stage recovery care in discharge lounges
- Proficient user of electronic health record
