Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive self-motivated and experienced Orthodontic Therapist to join the Dental Team.
You will provide a specialist contribution to the clinical management of patients requiring orthodontic treatment working in collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals in order to enhance overall patient care.
The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary dental team and is also expected to assist with clinical education and training in their speciality to members of that team and students. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to research when appropriate within the overall Kings College London Dental Institute.
Main duties of the job
Provide an orthodontic service implementing care plans and performing non-complex orthodontic procedures.
Provide a specialist contribution to the clinical management of patients requiring orthodontic treatment working in collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals in order to improve patient care.
Partaking in teaching, mentoring and assessment of students, trainees and professional staff therefore promoting a learning culture.
Facilitate and participate in audit and quality assurance programmes, and promoting evidence based practice.
Conduct research and audit on delivery of patient care.
