We are looking for an enthusiastic SATO for a full time (37.5 hours per week), role within the Adult Clinical Trials Pharmacy at Guys and St Thomas' Hospitals.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will actively engage and work alongside with the site clinical trials Pharmacy Personnel in the co-ordination of the day-to-day activities, and operations, primarily focusing on management of Investigation Medicinal Products at site and Sponsor level. The post holder will ensure that the any tasks relating to clinical trials are carried out in accordance with GCP standards, departmental policies and procedures, and in accordance with Trial Protocols.

The Pharmacy Clinical Trials Department Service for adult patients at GSTT manages one of the largest clinical trials' portfolios in the country managing over 500 studies and acting as Central Pharmacy for many GSTT sponsored studies.
The department has advanced capabilities for managing studies involving Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) ranging from traditional drug molecules to Advanced Therapies Investigational Medicinal products (ATIMPs) such as cell therapies.
The post holder will work in the pharmacy department. They will facilitate the management and dispensing of clinical trial medicines for Trust patients.
