Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Officer (Procurement Buyer) within Guy's and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an interesting role which presents an exciting opportunity for an individual who has an interest in Procurement and Supply Chain. The successful post holder need to be well organised with good IT skills, have an excellent communication skills, attention to details and high level of customer service experience.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Administrator with a background in Procurement/Supply Chain to support the processing of requisitions leading to good and services being received and delivered to the end user in a timely manner, provide advice and support and guidance on procurement related matters on our Procurement Helpdesk to the Trust as a whole.

  • NVQ, L3 CIPS Foundation , Degree in relevant subject

Desirable

  • Procurement related CPD seminars

  • Knowledge of Procurement processes and applications
  • Experience using Procurement / Finance systems
  • Working in a professional and dynamic environment

Desirable

  • previous working experience in a Procurement setting
