We are looking for an experienced Band 5 Qualified Nurse who is registered with the NMC and is looking for an opportunity to learn new skills, help to develop the service further and enjoy working with multiple services. A teaching and assessing qualification together with previous experience working in an infusion unit would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job
The role will involve rotating to work in the clinics in Centralised Outpatient Department which provides clinics for over 20 different specialities. Both Centralised Outpatients and the Infusion Suite are located in Gassiot House, St Thomas' Hospital..
The infusion suite provides treatment for mostly Ophthalmology and Neurology patients' who attend as a day case. You will be given the opportunity to work in all the Outpatient settings and rotate into the infusion suite to provide you with a larger skill set.
If you join our team, you will be given the opportunity to develop and gain a wide range of additional clinical skills and knowledge, enhancing your own personal development whilst contributing to the high standard of care we deliver in the Centralised Outpatient department. It will also offer you the opportunity to be part of our friendly and dynamic nursing team who will support and develop you in your new role.
The post requires the applicant to be able to work under pressure, demonstrate excellent clinical nursing and communication skills, willingness to learn and develop new skills and strive to provide the optimum care for patients and their relatives.
