The Fellowship is a rotational training programme in heart failure services across St Thomas' hospital, Royal Brompton hospital, Harefield hospital and King's College hospital. This prestigious Fellowship programme was specifically designed to provide unrivalled high quality clinical-academic training and development opportunities, working with world leading clinical and research colleagues across the sites.

Main duties of the job
Our training programme goal is to empower each fellow with the vital clinical skills and tools needed to become independent heart failure consultants. Candidates must have completed a general cardiology training program and have prior experience in clinical heart failure.
The programme is for 24 months rotating through all four sites including inpatient and outpatient care. In the first year, the successful candidates will rotate between six months at Guy's and St Thomas' and six months at King's College Hospital. In the second year, the candidates will rotate between six months at Harefield Hospital and six months at The Royal Brompton Hospital. At Harefield Hospital, the role will involve looking after patients being referred and undergoing cardiac transplantation, as well as other forms of mechanical circulatory support.
There will also be opportunities for research, audit, clinical governance involvement and service improvement.
