We have a fantastic opportunity for a Health and Care Hub Manager supported by the Mayor's Academy Programme and hosted by Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust
In this role you will work closely with service and education providers to support recruitment and retention within health and care. This forms a key part of our commitment to the Anchor agenda and supporting our local population
You will need to have extensive project management experience. You will be experienced in delivering against strategic workforce priorities with a clear understanding of education, recruitment and retention issues across all staff groups - including root cause issues. You will support the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda and exhibit strong communication and organisation skills.
Main duties of the job
This role will be part of the SEL ICS People Function the post holder will report into the Head of Workforce Strategy and Planning.
On a day-to-day basis, the post holder will:
- Work with the SEL Health and Care Hub Steering group and associated sub groups to develop and agree a phased programme plan for Hub activity
- Play a key role in ensuring that all stakeholders feel engaged with the hub and are pivotal in the overall design
- Work closely with HEIs who will be providing skills training on behalf of the hub
- Grow networks in the local community to raise awareness and engagement
- Lead on delivery of set targets through a range of initiatives including strategic planning for borough based actions, key contributions to a communication strategy and partnership working with education and service providers
