Job summary
The Lab Technician role is important to the delivery of our clinical and operational services. A significant component of this job involves supporting clinical measurement clinics, clinical audit, health and safety and infection control. There is also the requirement to support data processing and administrative activities.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a suitably experienced Lab technician to join our highly motivated team ofdedicated healthcare professionals in the Ultrasonic Angiology Department at Guy's & St. Thomas' Hospital, 4 star NHS Foundation Trust in London, UK.,
Our Service is delivered from dedicated, ultrasound scanning rooms, we provide a comprehensive vascular ultrasound service for adults and children. If you feel that you are team oriented, motivated and enthusiastic with a passion for helping patients, then please apply to join our dedicated team.All necessary training will be given whilst working; the candidate should hold a basic science degree or equivalent and some experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is desirable but not essential. The post-holder will be responsible for audit, clinical trial administration and preparing and maintaining the Departments IQIPS accreditation. They will act as Health & Safety officer.
