Job summary

Based at Guy's Hospital, with some home working, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Assisted Conception Unit (ACU) for a fixed-term Patient Pathway Coordinator to join our ACU Storage Project. In April 2022, Parliament passed changes to the Health and Social Care Act 2022 relating to the storage of eggs, embryos and sperm. This means that from 1 July 2022, all patients can store their eggs, embryos and sperm for their own treatment for up to 55 years, providing they re-consent every 10 years. Therefore, we are embarking on an ambitious project to contact all of our existing patients with storage to inform them of the change in legislation.

This is an exciting and challenging role within the administrative team in which the post holder would have an opportunity to make a direct positive impact on patient experience within the Trust.

We can offer you opportunities for personal development within our friendly and supportive team. If you already have experience in an admin role, this is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills or this could also be an excellent role to start you on your career path within the NHS.If you believe you have the skills and enthusiasm we would love to hear from you. For further details or informal visits please contact Venessa Smith, Quality Manager. Venessa.Smith@gstt.nhs.uk
