About us
The Apollo Epic Project is a monumental healthcare initiative focused on overhauling and improving the existing healthcare information systems within a GSTt and KCH. The project's primary goal is to implement Epic, a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, to replace the existing legacy systems.
Epic is a unified and patient-centered database that brings together all of a patient's information from various departments, ensuring seamless data flow, improved patient care, and efficient operations across the healthcare spectrum. It enables healthcare professionals to have instant access to a patient's medical history, prescriptions, test results, and more, facilitating swift and accurate decision-making.
The Apollo Epic Project covers a wide range of processes from data migration and integration to staff training and support. As the name "Apollo" suggests, it's a project of significant magnitude and importance, with a mission to revolutionise the way healthcare is delivered, much like the Apollo moon missions aimed to reshape our understanding of space.
