Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join the St John's Institute of Dermatology Research Team, Guy's and St Thomas Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
Once trained, the successful candidate will have responsibility for leading on a portfolio of Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs).
They will be tasked with liaising with clinical teams to recruit eligible patients, deliver clinical interventions (including dosing) and conduct tests according to specific study protocols. They will also be responsible for study follow up, data entry, ensuring patient safety and maintaining high levels of quality assurance expected at GSTT. Alongside our Clinical Trials Coordinator, they will also be involved in the set-up of new trials and will be required to work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality clinical research.

The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, hardworking and supportive team of research nurses, coordinators, clinical research practitioners and clinical investigators, covering novel and exciting clinical research trials across several areas of Dermatology (i.e. eczema, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, urticaria, alopecia, vitiligo, bullous pemphigoid, nodular prurigo and other rare skin diseases). They will be working alongside leaders in the field of Dermatology Research and will have close links with academics through Kings College London (KCL).
