During the rotation programme each candidate would have the opportunity to shadow the Nurse Consultant for Chemotherapy and the Advanced Nurse Practitioner for Chemotherapy.

During the rotation programme each candidate will be given the opportunity to work with the team and the Practice Development Nurses to look at Quality Improvement projects in each area. This will enable them to look at evidence to change practice and improve patient care.

Following the completion of the rotation programme we would ensure there are band 6 opportunities for each candidate. We would then continue to support each candidate to develop as a band 6 and present a poster on a Quality Improvement project at UKONS. There would be ongoing support and professional development.
