This post will contribute to establishing and maintaining and for ensuring that the Trust's corporate governance is undertaken to the highest standards of probity and in accordance with all statutory and legislative requirements.
The post holder will work closely with the other members of the Governance team and wider staff network to provide a full administrative service for the effective functioning of the Trust's corporate meeting cycle and overall support of professional meetings, Council of Governors, and wider Corporate Affairs function.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for supporting the Head of Corporate Governance & Compliance for establishing and maintaining and for ensuring that the Trust's corporate governance is undertaken to the highest standards of probity and in accordance with all statutory and legislative requirements.The post holder will work closely with the Corporate Governance & Compliance Officer and oversee their work to provide a full administrative service for the effective functioning of the Trust's corporate meeting cycle and overall support of professional meetings.The Corporate Governance & Compliance Manager will manage the Policy and Procedures process and repository, maintain statutory registers, lead on the Annual Report and Annual Membership Meeting, and be the first contact point for the Council of Governors and lead on Governor induction, training and development and will service Council of Governor meetings and away days.
