Clinical Education Manager

Job summary

We are seeking a registered paramedic or nurse to join the education team as clinical education manager in any of our Education Centres across South Central Ambulance Service (Newbury, Whiteley or Bicester). If you enjoy teaching and are keen to develop your education and leadership skills, this could be the role for you.

This is an exciting time to join the SCAS education team, as we explore new ways of teaching, with new initiatives underway to enhance the provision of education.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will join a friendly team and support the Senior Education Manager by delivering education. This can take a variety of forms, from classroom based theory and skills sessions to technology enhanced learning and clinical simulation. We are also introducing virtual teaching where applicable, and you could be at the forefront of this innovation.

We offer an extensive range of education activities. These include apprenticeships, ambulance nursing, emergency care assistants and paramedic programmes for new and existing staff as well as internationally educated paramedics. CPD also forms part of our educational portfolio and you would be involved in supporting and developing these programmes.
