Band 6 Senior Interventional Radiology Radiographer - 12 MONTHS FIXED TERM

Are you looking to join a friendly IR department and develop your clinical and leadership skills?

We are looking for a suitably qualified Radiographer with experience in vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology.

We perform over 2800 IR procedures each year and have 2 IR labs, recovery, IR ultrasound suite and access to CT.

We undertake a large range of procedures and have been awarded University Department Status by the University of Reading in recognition of our collaboration, active research program as well as excellent clinical outcomes.

In recognition of our commitment to excellence, the department was awarded the Quality Standards for Imaging in November 2024, underscoring our dedication to delivering a standard of care we are proud of.

Main duties of the job

  • To be a senior radiographer within out interventional radiology department at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Hospital (RBFT).
  • To support the interventional team to achieve the best possible clinical outcome for the patient.
  • To ensure a high quality, effective and efficient service in designated area.
  • To participate in the extended hours (Monday to Friday 8am-6pm) and on call service for interventional radiology.
  • To support and deputise for the Superintendent Radiographer
  • To demonstrate the CARE values
