registered nurse or midwife with experience in fertility care
We are seeking to recruit a new team member for our Fertility Service. the successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse or Midwife with experience in reproductive medicine and who will be confident in managing their own clinical caseload.
Main duties of the job
To independently manage a clinical caseload including ultrasound examination
To be able to demonstrate advanced communication skills. communicating with the couple and other healthcare professionals.
To provide safe, effective, compassionate patient centred care. To make a positive difference to the experience of women and their partners at a vulnerable and stressful time.
To provide support and counselling to the couple experiencing fertility issues and be able to demonstrate evidence based use of all management options.
To act as the couples' advocate empowering them, as individuals, to make the right choices in regards to their care.
