Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the operational management and clinical leadership of the front door services, including the day-to-day management, supervision of senior staff and provision of clinical support. Working closely with the Professional Leads for Therapies and Head of Therapies to ensure alignment.
To use clinical skills and experience at an advanced level to autonomously manage own caseload and support the complex caseloads of practitioners working within your team. Your clinical caseload will take up typically 40% of your time as per your job plan.
To ensure a high quality and effective therapy service at the front door to the hospital.
To liaise with other senior professionals in AHP, nursing and medical groups regarding service delivery across specialties, working collaboratively to troubleshoot dependent upon patient and service need alongside workforce availability issues.
