As a Project Manager, you will be at the heart of this transformation, driving forward complex projects that contribute to the success of the BBT Programme.
Main duties of the job
Take full ownership of projects, overseeing all phases from initiation to operational completion. This includes planning, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will lead project teams in defining and translating requirements into clear operational plans, ensuring alignment with programme goals. Your responsibilities also include establishing robust project controls and providing regular progress reports, including the assessment and management of risks, issues, and dependencies. Additionally, you will lead change management initiatives, working closely with the wider project team and stakeholder groups to ensure seamless project implementation and integration.

You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards, while managing risks and aligning with the strategic objectives of the programme.

Essential: Formal project management qualification (e.g., APM, MSP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma & Prince2 or equivalent) or equivalent experience
Desirable:Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience
Experience
Essential: Extensive experience in project management with a strong track record of delivering complex project.
Facilitating and coordinating within a team of at Least 5 people on projects
Desirable: Experience working within the NHS, healthcare, or other public sector environments.
Familiarity with NHS-specific policies & procedures, in the context of new hospital developments or infrastructure projects.
