Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in the development and delivery of the BOB Acute Provider Collaborative (APC). The postholder will work with the APC team and key system partners to support delivery of transformation activities that will improve outcomes and value for money for our population.
The APC is comprised of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Royal Berkshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We aspire to reduce variation and inequalities in outcomes, experience and access; improve resilience; and deliver specialisation or consolidation where it will improve outcomes and value.
The team plays a vital role in the delivery of the APC's ambition to deliver outstanding care and support the delivery of our strategic ambitions over the next five years, including the delivery of financial savings targets. Our aim is to support a culture that promotes collaboration, inclusion and equality of opportunity at all levels.
The postholder will support the development, planning, delivery and monitoring of our projects and programmes, ensuring efficient and effective partnership working between the acute providers to deliver transformation of services for patient benefit.
Main duties of the job
The Project Support Officer within the team provides analytical, monitoring and project support for the APC's improvement and transformation programmes.
Key responsibilities are to:
Own and maintain the project and CIP trackers, ensuring that they are kept up to date and reflect the transformation and improvement projects and programmes.
Interrogate a variety of data sources, including Model Hospital, GIRFT and Right Care in order to support the identification of opportunities for driving improvements in quality, efficiency and transformation.
Provide regular and accurate reports to feed into monthly reporting, including providing support to regular governance forums and preparing papers.
Provide support to project leads in developing improvement and efficiency projects, taking on responsibility for owning and driving projects where possible.
