Vascular Access Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are looking to recruit a talented and ambitious Vascular Access Clinical Nurse Specialist as we continue to build on our reputation for delivering high quality, well-led services.

The Vascular Access service at the Royal Berkshire leads the service delivery for a wide range of specialties and this role provides a great opportunity for individuals to work and develop specialist skills in a patient facing role. This is a challenging but rewarding role with an accent on delivering both local and national standards within the specialty.

As part of this role you will be supporting patients through their pathway providing both in and outpatient care. You will also play a key role in staff and patient education, working closely within the multi-disciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

You will need to be enthusiastic, committed and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will work closely with your clinical teams as we work together to develop our services for the future.

To undertake the role you will need to have a real passion for continuous improvement and the ability to deliver a patient-focused service.
