Professional Lead for Adult Speech and Language Therapy

Main duties of the job

  • Provide clinical leadership and management to the adult speech and language therapy team.
  • Oversee the delivery of specialised communication and dysphagia assessment and therapy.
  • Ensure the implementation of evidence-based practices and innovative service developments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Support and supervise junior therapists and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Participate in clinical governance activities, including audit, research, and service evaluation.
