Pharmacy Administrative Assistant - F/T 6 months

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Pharmacy Administrator who is efficient and organised to come and join our team in Pharmacy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general office and clerical duties to support the Pharmacy Department and Senior Pharmacy Leadership team, with a particular emphasis on preparing and collating of papers for meetings, assist with the management of diaries and co-ordinating the trust Optimize system.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide administrative support to the Pharmacy Department and Senior Pharmacy Leadership Team (SPLT) to support the efficient and effective delivery of Pharmacy Services.

Provide secretarial support for relevant Pharmacy meetings. Prepares agendas and papersensuring information is accurate and complete and distributes to attendees / managers in atimely and efficient manner.

Provide secretarial/administrative support to the Chief Pharmacist and their direct line reports. To co-ordinate and maintain the diary for the Chief Pharmacist, and his/her directline reports including diary checks.

Manages the day to day administration of the non-medicines procurement process within Pharmacy. Ensures purchase order numbers are raised and orders receipted against in atimely manner.

Facilitation and organisation in the recruitment process for the department. Ensuring thecompletion of appointment, variation and termination forms, so that Trust HR policies areadhered to.
