Band 6/7 Developmental Colorectal Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is excited to announce that we have a new opportunity for a Band 6/7 developmental clinical nurse specialist in the colorectal cancer team.

We are looking for experienced, motivated and ambitious nurses who want to work in a friendly, supportive and innovative environment.

You will be joining a busy team who are passionate about providing the highest quality care for people living with and beyond cancer.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week.

Main duties of the job

Working in a small and friendly team within a larger CNS team, you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of other dedicated and highly skilled healthcare professionals to care for patients and their families, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice and actively improving the way we work.

The post is a developmental role and depending on experience and ongoing competency development, the post holder will progress from a band 6 to a band 7 role providing autonomous nurse-led services alongside the rest of the team. Applicants with appropriate experience and qualifications may be offered the post at band 7.
