Job summary

Experienced Phlebotomist (Part-time 20 h/w) - Plus 5% Fringe

The phlebotomy department at Bracknell Healthspace is looking for band 3 part time experienced phlebotomist to support with the daily provision of quality blood collection services, Working Monday to Fridays from 8.00pm to 4:00pm.Including weekends 08.00 to 12.00pm We are an extensive department that services outpatient clinics. We are looking for one who is hardworking, enthusiastic and has previous experience in a similar role to join our team.

Main duties of the job

Post holder will be required to collect samples from inpatients, patients attending outpatient clinics. Post holder is required to liaise with clinicians, other healthcare professionals including laboratory staff, with patients and their representatives and with commercial suppliers. Post holder will be required to perform a range of venepuncture techniques in a variety of clinical settings and will work without direct supervision.

They will also be required to perform reception and telephone duties.
