Job summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join as Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator for CAT6 who will be joining a friendly and hardworking team. You will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer-focused and knowledgeable point of contact. You will provide a consistent approach across the Trust, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for helping provide a smooth transition for patients as they move through their treatment and outpatient appointments.
Duties will include completing key administrative tasks which are vital to enable the department to function safely and to a high standard. Reception tasks are included within this role.
You need to be flexible and willing to learn new skills. You should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Mathematics and English, with good evidence of computer literacy.
You will also have very good communication skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Previous NHS experience is not required, as full training will be given.
CAT 6 is a large administrative team working for both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Our aim is to support our Clinical Teams to provide the best possible service to our stakeholders following the CARE values at all times.
