Band 5 Staff Nurse - Gynaecology Day Unit (Sonning Ward - Outpatients)

This is a full-time post for 37.5 hours per week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for staff nurse (Band 5) who has an interest in women's health, to join our Gynaecology Unit nursing team on Sonning ward.

The Gynaecological Unit is a busy and rewarding working environment.

We offer a range of gynaecological services including pre-operative assessment, treatment and follow-up.

Previous experience, although desirable, is not essential. However a genuine interest in women's health issues is required. Full training will be given for the post.

The department runs Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00-18:00.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for highly motivated, innovative and flexible nurse with a caring nature, keen interest in gynaecology and a commitment to providing high quality patient care.

It is important that you are able to work within a team providing the best care, the best environment and best patient experience whilst delivering the Trust Quality Improvement Strategy.

The role will involve working within the multiple gynaecology outpatient clinics. These clinics include: Colposcopy; Out-patient Hysteroscopy; Uro-Gynae Clinics; and the General Gynaecology Outpatient Clinics.
