Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic motivated person to join the commercial clinical trials team. The commercial team is a new and innovating team helping to co-ordinate/support or run commercial studies across our portfolio. This individual will be vital to help establish and grow our trusts commercial portfolio. You will be working alongside the research teams and the commercial research nurse to help deliver commercial research in our Trust. In addition you will be a source of expertise in upcoming innovations surrounding data collection and utilization of data.

Main duties of the job

This role will support the commercial research nurse in running commercial studies across the trust. They will be responsible for ensuring the study data and filing is as per GCP and clean data is submitted in a timely manner to the study sponsor. They will have a good understanding of eCRF systems and wider systems used in commercial research. In addition they will be a champion and point of expertise in data collection and the systems used to collect and report this data. This post will mostly be office based.

  • To promote data quality and to create auditable processes that ensures timely and accurate delivery of information to all key customers.

  • To help with study set-up and when required support the commercial governance team.

  • Degree or equivalent qualification, or five years relevant experience
