Rotational Senior Pharmacy Technician
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, Pharmacy Technician to join our busy, friendly pharmacy team at Royal Berkshire Hospital. The role will be to assist the department in the provision of a high-quality pharmacy service to our patients. This exciting rotational post will give you an opportunity to work in the pharmacy dispensary, pharmacy stores and on the wards.
The successful candidate must have the necessary qualifications for this post. On-the-job training will be provided.
We welcome applications from Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians who are completing their course within the coming months.
Main duties of the job
To work as part of the Pharmacy team to provide an effective pharmacy service in the Pharmacy Dispensary, Pharmacy Stores and at Ward Level contributing to the efficient provision of Medicines Optimisation within RBFT as part of a multidisciplinary team.
To work, as an Accredited Checking Technician, Medicine Management Technician, completing Clinical Checks and Counselling patients with their medicines.
