Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust is undertaking a major modernisation of its services and buildings to be delivered through the Building Berkshire Together (BBT) Programme. Royal Berkshire Hospital is part of the Governments New Hospital Programme and it is currently in the Outline Business Case (OBC) phase.

The BBT Clinical & Operations Advisers secondments will advise on the key inputs in developing the Clinical Services Strategy into the Clinical Model of Care (MoC). The MoC lays out the approach for the development of our clinical services at a pathway and functional level, providing a clear roadmap from where we are now to where we want to be. For BBT, these outputs play a critical role in the design of RBFT new hospital and the completion of the Trusts OBC submission.

We are looking for up to 3 secondments representing all Care Groups (Network care, Planned care and Urgent care). The secondment requirement is for 0.5 day / 1 PA per week, for 6 months.

Main duties of the job

Duties will include:

Provide input and advice to the programme on behalf of your Care Group.Ensure a diverse range of people are represented.Ensure plans are in place are patient centric.Proactively identify potential patient quality, safety or outcome issues and opportunities.Provide oversight for data integrity related to the development of the clinical model of care.Successfully oversee engagement in your Care Group in the BBT programme.Engage with other relevant reference or working groups.Support the development of documents such as specifications, updates.
