About the Role
This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced and dynamic leader to join Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust asStrategy and Partnerships Director.
This is a pivotal role within the organisation, responsible for shaping and delivering strategic initiatives that will define the future of healthcare across our region.
As part of the Strategy Directorate, you will lead on the development and implementation of key organisational strategies, including our first Clinical Strategy -Care 2035 - and the renewal of our Corporate Strategy. You will also drive forward our approach to partnerships, sustainability, and commercial development, ensuring these priorities are embedded across the Trust.
About You
We are looking for a senior leader with:
- Significant management experiencein a senior role reporting to Board level.
- Expert knowledge and experienceof strategic development and planning within a complex operating environment.
- Stronginfluencing and negotiating skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries.
- A proven track record ofdelivering strategic initiatives and managing change effectively.
Main duties of the job
- Lead the development and delivery of organisational strategy, including overseeing major strategic initiatives, includingCare 2035and refreshing our Corporate Strategy.
- Lead the organisation's business planning processes, including development the Trust's annual business plan
- Shape and strengthen partnerships across South Yorkshire and beyond.
- Drive sustainability initiatives aligned to our strategic objective toCreate a Sustainable Organisation.
- Support the Chief Strategy Officer in ensuring organisational viability and excellence.
- Act as Deputy for the Chief Strategy Officer when required.
- Manage the Directorate budget and ensure delivery of agreed commercial targets.
