About the DepartmentOur modern Radiotherapy Department features eight Varian linear accelerators, including six TrueBeam units (two TrueBeam STX) and two Halcyon machines. We routinely deliver Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT). Our services include Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR), Continuous Hyper fractionated Accelerated Radiotherapy (CHART), Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH), and Total Body Irradiation (TBI).

Main duties of the job
Rotate through all clinical areas of the Radiotherapy Department--including treatment and pre-treatment--under the supervision of the appropriate Superintendent Radiographers.
Manage a team of radiographers, providing clear leadership, support, and guidance to ensure high standards of clinical practice.
Act as the Lead Clinical Radiographer for your designated treatment or pre treatment unit, taking responsibility for the coordination and delivery of safe and effective care.
Coordinate the clinical workload of your assigned Treatment Unit, ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal use of resources.
Serve as a key point of contact for specialist clinical advice, working collaboratively with Superintendent Radiographers to support staff and maintain best practice.
Contribute actively to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the department's ISO 9000 Quality Management System.
Lead and participate in clinical research, audits, and the development of new radiotherapy techniques and equipment to ensure the department remains at the forefront of innovation.
Ensure that the highest technical and patient care standards are consistently maintained during both simulation and treatment procedures.
Take a proactive role in the evaluation, introduction, and implementation of new equipment, software, and advanced treatment techniques.
