Qualifications

Essential

• BSc in Occupational Therapy
• Current HCPC Registration
• Postgraduate Masters level module in relevant subject to this post or equivalent knowledge and skills accumulated through formal training and experiential learning
• Qualified to carry out standardized Functional Capacity Evaluations

Desirable

• Master's degree in relevant Specialty

Experience

Essential

• Extensive experience as a qualified therapist
• Significant experience at Specialist level in relevant specialty
• Experience of working within the Occupational Health setting
• Clinical Educator
• Participation in Clinical Audit & Practice Development
• Supervision and line management of Therapy staff including appraisal
• Professional Presentations
• Report writing

Desirable

• Member of Special Interest Group
• Governance
• Teaching
• Experience of working within a Vocational Rehabilitation service
• Experience of developing proposals for new services

Further Training

Essential

• Evidence of continuous personal & professional development
• Current advanced clinical knowledge and skill in specialty
