We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated HCPC-registered Advanced Biomedical Scientist to join our Biochemistry team at the Northern General Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, professional, and flexible individual to be part of a friendly and hardworking department within one of the region's leading acute hospital sites.

Our laboratory is fully automated and equipped with a Roche 8000 analytical platform, including Chemistry and Immunoassay analysers, all integrated with the APEX Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Applicants must be HCPC-registered and have successfully completed the IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Clinical Biochemistry.

In addition, candidates should either hold, or be nearing completion of, a Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualification, such as the IBMS Higher Specialist Diploma in Clinical Biochemistry.

Extensive experience at Band 6 level within a routine Biochemistry environment is essential, alongside a thorough understanding of clinical biochemistry techniques and practices.
