An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Directorate for Operating Services, Critical Care & Anaesthesia for a Senior Registered Nurse or Senior Registered Operating Department Practitioner for a permanent Lead Practitioner role in ENT & ORAL MAXILLA FACIAL SURGERY at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital theatres..
This role will provide strong clinical leadership to the directorate; you will assist the executive team to build relationships across patient pathways and work closely with our partners in Surgical Care Groups to provide high quality patient care.

- RGN Level one or ODP qualififcation
- NMC / HCPC registered
- To have completed the national practice assessor training or equivalent teaching and assessing qualification for those with ENB998.
- Continuous professional development
- 1 st degree or evidence of working towards one (demonstrating graduate attributes)
Experience
Essential
- Extensive post registration experience in a large operating theatre environment in the NHS
- Relevant experience at junior sister/charge nurse /senior ODP level
- Previous experience deputising for Lead Practitioner / Senior Sister / Charge Nurse
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a professional team
- Specialist training relevant to working in a theatre environment
