Job summary
This role provides essential administrative support within the OGN Care Group.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional Clerical Officer with strong communication, organisational, and administrative skills.
The ideal candidate will be methodical, organised, flexible, and uphold the Trust's PROUD values. A good understanding of patient confidentiality and administrative experience is required, along with effective computer skills. Experience with hospital computer systems is desirable.
Main duties of the job
To prepare hospital medical records to a high quality standard for clinicians to refer to and record in during Antenatal, Feto-Maternal Unit and Day care clinic sessions.
To act as the main receptionist during a clinic session, ensuring patients enjoy an excellent experience.
To record accurately in the Patient Administration System (PAS), Radiology Information system (CRIS) and Viewpoint each patient's arrival, departure, future care plan, appointments and scans. In addition ensure all clinical coding is completed.
