An exciting opportunity has arisen in Corporate Cancer Services for a highly motivated, team player who enjoys working in a challenging but rewarding environment to support our development and delivery for 12 months.
This is an exciting role that will allow the post holder to have a positive impact across the organisation in the delivery of Cancer Waiting Times (CWT) performance and delivery.
The Corporate Cancer Services team deliver information, support, and analysis to support key decision makers in the delivery of cancer pathways. The services provided by the team support Operational Management, Directors, and Clinical Staff, which in turn informs the operational and strategic decision-making process. It is through the business intelligence provided by the CCS team that the Trust drives continuous clinical and quality improvement.
Main duties of the job
To work alongside and deputise for the Cancer Manager. To lead the delivery of corporate cancer operational processes including the Trust wide corporate PTL.
To plan, lead, and deliver a revised model for cancer tracking and MDT coordination across the Trust. This includes defining, implementing, and embedding a robust standardised model of cancer tracking and local cancer PTL processes in all cancer pathways across the Trust.
