Job summary

Are you an experienced and passionate childcare worker who would like to work within a large thriving childcare setting? Then this could be the role for you!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for full time and part time level 3 qualified practitioners to work at both of our Sheffield Teaching Hospital sites across the city.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to working in our nursery. They must be knowledgeable in the EYFS standards and keen to support our children in a safe and caring environment to grow and develop within their own potential.

The role includes the organisation and preparation of activities and resources to challenge children's learning opportunities. Also developing and maintaining good relationships with parents.

Main duties of the job

To provide an interesting and stimulating environment which is well organised and facilitates independence and resourcefulness for the children. To develop quality activities and role play situations, inside and outside which provide an interesting, inclusive and stimulating environment.

To provide excellent care and educational opportunities for the children within your care.

To contribute in the collection of resources in the nursery. To ensure that resources are organised and prepared accordingly.

To plan and implement activities and experiences which are appropriate for children of all ages and stages of development using the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and Ofsted guidelines.

To organise the preparation of children's work for display, ensuring that it is well presented and promotes self-esteem.

To provide information displays for parents and carers.
