Job summary

The post holder is responsible for the operational delivery of high-performing therapy services, managing integrated teams and the financial and physical resources which support those teams. They are also responsible for developing and improving services by working with others, understanding key issues, developing plans, and implementing change. High levels of communication and engagement are required throughout.

The Clinical Service Manager will work closely with all members of the Admin, AHP, Medical and Nursing teams in the development of services. They will have line management responsibility for Lead Therapists/ Operational Leads, and Assistant Service Manager, and will contribute to a clinical workload within the Service.

Main duties of the job

  • Operational Management of Service Delivery of MSK AHP clinical services
  • Operational Management of Financial and Physical Resources within MSK AHP Clinical Services
  • Operational Management of AHP and administrative Staff
  • Communication and Engagement with a broad range of key stakeholders including patients, AHP teams and services, Nursing and Medical
  • Lead on service development, modernisation, and improvement of the AHP service aligned with MSK Care Group and STH aims and objectives
  • Governance Leadership within MSK AHP Clinical Services
  • Clinical Responsibility including clinical caseload and leadership and responsibility for the clinical care provided from the service
  • Personal Development of yourself to support you in your role, and the continued development of others and the service
