Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Audio Typist to join our department.
The post holder will provide effective and comprehensive Audio Typing for the Ophthalmology Department.
An efficient and personalised service must be maintained and provided by the team, in a manner that meets the Directorate, Trust, Department of Health policies and procedures.
Main duties of the job
Good organisational and communication skills are required to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Computer and keyboard skills are essential to enable the post holder to utilise information on the G2 dictation system and Patient Administrative System (Lorenzo).
Assisting departmental secretaries and the Support secretary within the Ophthalmology department.
Assisting with co-ordinating the patient service from first referral through clinic, discharge and follow up.

- GCSE at Grade 4/C in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications) or equivalent experience
- OCR l or II Typewriting qualification or equivalent typing experience within an office environment
