Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic and supportive Rheumatology Team based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly self-motivated, well organised individual who wish to develop their skills in the provision of an MDT Coordinator.
The focus of the MDT Coordinator role will be to provide a comprehensive administrative service to support and cover the multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) and ensure the effective management of accurate and timely data to enable clinical decision-making at MDT meetings.
Main duties of the job
Coordinating administrative pathways and ensuring an effective process is followed in all areas of work.
Ensuring booking appointments where appropriate, according to the department's strategy and local standards/policy/procedure and processing triaged referrals. Ensure that deviations from this are clearly explained and recorded.

- Educated to GCSE standard English Grade C/4 or equivalent qualifications.
- RSA stage III typing/word processing /OCR Level 3 (or equivalent experience)
- NVQ 3 Business Administration or Team Leadership or Customer Care or equivalent qualification / experience.

- Previous MDT Coordinator experience
- Previous secretarial or medical secretarial experience within the NHS
