Job summary
You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective staffing within our medical teams. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of rota management, continuous improvement, and compliance.The service areas involved are:1. Medical staffing rotas & leave administration.2. Medical changeover, induction & education.3. Mandatory Training.4. Medical Invoice administration and cost per case income collection.Supporting Service Coordinator, Clinical Director, and Clinical Leads to coordinate the delivery of induction and transparent deployment of clinical staff to deliver resilient clinical services. To action processes for planned leave and unplanned leave. To contribute to the maintenance of transparent robust, accurate and comprehensive medical rotas.To coordinate each medical changeover and induction programme within the directorate as well as the annual medical education programme.Finally administer all medical invoices and the collection of available cost per case income.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to provide comprehensive support to the Service Coordinator and medical staff in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department. The primary responsibility will be managing medical staffing rotas, processing both planned and unplanned changes and coordinate medical changeovers and inductions
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, strong IT skills, a flexible approach to working, administrative experience and the ability to work autonomously.

- Educated to GCSE standard, including, Maths and English language at Grade C/4 or above.
- Business/Administration A-Level/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications/experience.
- Knowledge of the full range of administrative policies and procedures, acquired through training and relevant experience.
Experience

- Relevant experience working within health services in either a secretarial or clerical capacity.
- Experience of using computerised information systems and/or Patient Administration Systems
- Experience of database/spreadsheet management
- Experience of coordinating a rota
