Job summary
The Directorate of Ophthalmology is a large, vibrant, and exciting place to work. It is one of the busiest out-patient departments in the Trust and patients travel from across the region and country to be treated here. Its annual activity is around 100,000 out-patients and up to 10,000 surgical procedures.
This post is based in the Vitreo retinal department within Ophthalmology. The Vitreo retinal service offers appointments for routine and emergency patients, in both outpatient clinics and theatres. It is a fast paced, dynamic and time critical service.
