An opportunity has arisen to join our team of Nuclear Medicine Clinical Technologists/Radiographers based in Sheffield.
We are recruiting to a Clinical Technologists/Radiographer post in Nuclear Medicine.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team providing Nuclear Medicine (NM) services to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust(STH) as well as providing services/support to other Trusts in the local region.
The successful candidate will put patient care at the centre of their work and demonstrate excellent team working skills alongside the largermultidisciplinary team providing Nuclear Medicine services.
Candidates will ideally be registered Clinical Technologists/Radiographer in the nuclear medicine speciality and have demonstrated an ability towork both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
Senior Clinical Technologist/Radiographer Nuclear Medicine
Please note this vacancy is banded dependent upon applicants experience relevant to this post.
We are looking for candidates that meet the necessary threshold of skills and experience required to start on Band 6.
Applicants that meet the requirements for Band 5 will also be considered, this would be at 3-year fixed term training post, with the expectation that the successful candidate will complete the relevant training within this term. Once training is completed the role would become a permanent Band 6 post.

- (Band 5) Degree in a science or in a Health related subject
- (Band 5) 2:1or above (or predicted) for entrance to post grad diploma Nuc Med.
- (Band 5 & 6) BSc Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent qualification) or working towards.
- (Band 5) Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration as a Radiographer, or expect to gain on qualification.
- (Band 5) An undertaking to pass a post graduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
