Job summary
We are looking for an experienced endoscopy administrator to join the newly established South Yorkshire Endoscopy Immersion Centre and provide administration support to the team.
The post holder will work closely with the Endoscopy team and the newly established Pan-Yorkshire Endoscopy Training Academy (YETA).
The post holder will be responsible for supporting, communicating and organising the logistics of endoscopy training amongst the various stakeholders and stakeholder organisations that contribute to the YETA.
The post holder will support the delivery of the curriculum as defined by the YETA training committee.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will help with the administration of the YETA endoscopy training curriculum that will be delivered in Sheffield.
The post holder will be responsible for the ongoing administration and organisation to maintain the delivery of the endoscopy training curriculum across the YETA.
A key part of the role is informing stakeholder organisations which trainees will be undertaking immersion training and when.
You will be the first point of contact for colleagues preparing and currently undertaking immersion training. You will also be responsible for managing absences that will impact the training curriculum and mitigating the impact on the trainees and trainers and escalating this accordingly.
You will also be responsible for producing and maintaining SOP's in relation to the administration of the Pan Yorkshire Training Academy and Immersion Centre.

This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 12 months due to the post being externally funded. The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts taking into consideration the ongoing source of the external funding and the requirement for the post to be maintained.
Please also note any secondment must first be agreed with your current line manager.
