Our Domestic Patient Service Assistants play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout Community and the Trust.

Vacancies are;

  • Wheata Dental Clinic, Wordsworth Avenue, 15hrs per week, Mon - Fri, 4.30 while 7.30pm
  • Longley Drive Through, Longley Lane, 20hrs per week, Mon - Fri, either 6 - 10am or 3.30 - 7.30pm
  • Relief Cover, 15hrs per week, Mon - Fri, either 6 - 9am or 4.30 - 7.30pm. APPLICANTS FOR THIS POST MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENCE AND HAVE ACCESS TO A VEHICLE.

Salary - £12.08 per hour, plus enhancements/unsocial hours payments where applicable.

Main duties of the job

All posts will be required to undertake a range of domestic duties, for example maintaining a high standard of cleanliness using modern cleaning methods and machinery, full training will be provided.

The post may at times be required to attend to the cleaning of bodily fluids together with barrier cleaning and when competent in the role you will be required to buddy with new staff members.

Relief Cover post requires travel across all Community sites in the region.

  • Basic Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Training

  • Experience of cleaning in a public sector environment
  • Experience of working in a healthcare environment.
