Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Quality Governance Team for an enthusiastic, hardworking and self-motivated individual to join us as a personal assistant. The successful candidate will provide an efficient, comprehensive and highly confidential administrative and secretarial service to the Quality Director.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, flexible and able to prioritise to meet the demands of this role.

This post offers the opportunity for hybrid working, with a mix of work on-site and from home in line with role and team requirements.

Main duties of the job

To provide a comprehensive and confidential administrative and secretarial service to the Quality Director including the production, to a high standard, of correspondence, reports and presentation material.

To act as the first point of contact for and have responsibility for manging the diary of the Quality Director dealing with initial enquiries exercising judgement and discretion and making decisions as necessary.

Undertake complex administrative tasks that require the gathering, analysis and presentation of information, identification of problems and provision of solution, for example, the agreement of the agenda and collation of papers for senior level committees.

Take, transcribe and distribute minutes for both formal and informal meetings, following up action points as agreed.

  • Relevant experience in a senior secretarial /personal assistant role working with senior Managers
  • Minute taking
